The main window

| After choosing a period, VAT-Books will list all the items paid in and out for that period (these are mostly sales and purchases). From this list you can enter new items or edit items already listed. YOu can also print reports, export your data, reconfigure the grid or the edit windows, or export your data. |

| You can use the new button to add new items. Below you can see the new item window when we have enters a new purchase. Notice the calculate button which you can use to perform various calculations. |

Printing a report (Part 1)

| Clicking the print button opens the Print Wizard. This wazard has two pages designed to help you produce reports easily. The first page asks you for a period. This will show the period you are currently working with, but you can choose another period for your report. |

Printing a report (Part 2)

| Click next for the second page. This asks which type of report you want to produce. I have selected the VAT return report. You can click print to go directly to the report or you can set up your printer first with the print setup button. |

| This image show the print preview window. You can see the report as it will be printed. You have options to print the report or save it to disk. You can also open previously saved reports. |
